WHAT IS GET DIRT?

Think of it as a novel told using unconventional means. The plot unfolds as characters text each other, trying to get to the bottom of a mystery that is impossible to pin down.

When you start the app, the story will have already gotten started, but will still have a long ways to go. Read to the bottom of the screen to get up to speed, and then check back in to see what new developments have unfolded as time passes.

If you time it right, youll see the conversations play out right in front of you, complete with false starts and dramatic pauses.

It takes 7 days to reach the end of the story — or you can purchase Binge Mode and unlock the full story, without having to wait!

HOW DO I PLAY?

This isnt a game, its a book, presented in a different way. All you need to do is read and enjoy.

+++

YEAH BUT HOW DO I PLAY?

Book. Not game. No play. Just book.

+++

HOW DO I KNOW WHAT LEVEL IM AT?

Sigh.

+++

THIS... SOUNDS DUMB

Its unconventional, yes, but its a pretty fun ride. The characters are vibrant and dynamic, and their motivations shift almost hourly. There are more than a few OMG plot twists to keep you guessing. Give it shot. Itll be worth it.

+++

SO THERES NO INTERACTIVITY AT ALL?

I didnt say THAT. You can enter keywords into the Cluebook screen to reveal secrets that add to the experience.

+++

AND THEN I CAN PLAY THOSE???

Argh. No. Theyre just for reading, too.

WHO MADE THIS?

Get Dirt was written and developed by MCM, an author and screenwriter who has created and/or written for numerous award-winning TV shows for studios like Netflix, Disney, NBC/Universal and CBC. He likes being odd. Play along.

YOU SAID "PLAY"!

I have to go cry now.
